Chronos Lite is an automation app for your Android device.
This app – a lite version of the full program – allows you to automatically change settings on your phone depending on location, time of day, dock status and so on. In theory. In practice, Chronos Lite's a buggy, unreliable app that seems to have been designed to be as user-unfriendly as possible!
This version of Chronos Lite allows you to make two Profiles, for example, work and school. You can then add rules, like muting your phone when you enter the library. You add rules under Settings and Triggers, picking from a good variety of each, such as location, time of day, power state, etc.
If you need help setting these rules up – and there's a good chance you will – you can find an FAQ on the Chronos Lite website. Once you have your profiles set up the way you like them, you’ll be able to back them up, which is a godsend, given how difficult it is to set them up in the first place.
All in all, it's hard to recommend Chronos Lite, based on our experiences testing it. If you are looking for an automation app, check out AutomateIt instead.
As automation apps go, Chronos Lite is pretty poor.
